Aside from ten-time NBA All-Star status and our Brand Ambassador, Dwyane Wade is making headlines once again compliments of his well-known Fantasy Camp which takes place in Hollywood Beach, Florida from June 25th to 28th, 2015.
For those of you unfamiliar with the event, the Dwyane Wade Fantasy Camp is an elite basketball camp hosted by Wade himself where dreams come to life on the basketball court.
Now in its fifth year, Wade dreamed up the camp after numerous nudges from our South Florida community. Dedicated fans were constantly challenging him to one-on-ones so Wade decided to take on the challenge by uniquely hosting an elite, weekend-long event for campers who were willing to take their game to the next level while “showing him what they’ve got.”
As you can very well imagine, Dwyane Wade Fantasy Camp has single handedly became the “Ultimate Man-Camp.” Its very first competition proved to be a hit with men ages 35 and older, from all over the United States who took on the challenge and lived out their fantasies all while going head-to-head with some of basketball’s greatest coaches, players and trainers.
A-list celebrities are also fond of the first-class event. Actor Will Smith, rapper Young Jeezy, comedian and actor Kevin Hart and other professional basketball players such as Lebron James, Chris Bosh, Udonis Haslem, Greg Oden, Raja Bell, Antawn Jamison and more have hit the courts for DWFC.
World-class coaches such as the Miami Heat’s own Erik Spoelstra, Indiana University’s Men’s Head Coach Tom Crean, University of Miami’s Men’s Head Coach Jim Larranga and NBA Legend Rick Barry have led the way at Wade’s camp as well.
