Top Three Travel Spots

Nothing quiets the minds and stirs up new goals like travel. There’s something magical about hopping on a plane and discovering new sights, eats, culture and people. From the Hamptons to Asia — wanderlust has taken me to countless unique places, but my all-time favorite travel haunts are the Amalfi Coast, Thailand and Istanbul.

Here are some fun facts about my top three list:

Amalfi Coast: This stretch of postcard-perfect coastline on the southern coast of Italy is bella! Known for its production of limoncello and lemon orchards, this area brimming with pastel fishing villages brimming with hobnobbing glitterati in Positano and breathtaking views from the hillsides. The scrumptious pasta is an added bonus, naturally.

Thailand: Frenetic and sultry, this Asian country offers the best of both worlds — wild city living in Bangkok and calm-as-a-cucumber islands such as Phuket. Bangkok is chockfull of towering high-rises, tuk-tuks (motorcycle taxis), gleaming malls, aromatic markets and world-class fare. Phuket, on the other hand, provides silky soft and palm-lined beaches — ideal for catching some much-needed Zs.

Istanbul: The only city in the world that encompasses both Asia and Europe, Istanbul also straddles the ancient and modern worlds — love that! After a strong cup of Turkish coffee, I’m always ready to explore the city’s museums, ravishing architecture and lively nightlife. The Grand Bazaar, brimming with pottery, textiles, spices and more is also a sight to be seen.
