THE 2016 GENEVA INTERNATIONAL MOTOR SHOW

From sports cars to SUVs, the 86th Annual Geneva International Motor Show had it all! As one of the best motor shows in the world, I had the opportunity to experience the newest cars first-hand. What was most impressive? There are so many new innovations happening for our manufacturers. Whether it’s faster cars, more attainable models or the newest SUVs, these new advancements are truly setting the path for our amazing brands!

Audi Q2 – Audi has added its newest crossover SUV to the line-up of already successful models: the Audi Q2. The Q2 is a sleek compact crossover slightly smaller than the Q3 standing at 5 feet tall and has an overall length of 13.7 feet. Key highlights on the Q2 are the signature singleframe grille, a low roof and unique c-pillar treatment. The interior replicates the design of other Audi’s meaning it has the same advanced technology, driver aids, adaptive cruise control, numerous connectivity options and more.

Porsche 911 RThe 911 R is a lightweight, naturally aspirated, manual gearbox version of the 991-series with memorable racing stripes. The 911 R shares the GT3 RS’s 4.0-litre, 500hp engine and is 110 pounds lighter than the RS, with weight shaved by a carbon fibre bonnet and front wheel arches, magnesium-alloy roof, plastic rear and side windows, and missing rear seat, air con, and audio systems. The 911 R travels to 60 mph from a standing start in 3.7 seconds and a maximum speed of 201 mph.

Ferrari GTC4Lusso – The new Ferrari GTC4Lusso is the latest four-seater concept, which combines extraordinary performance in all driving conditions with sporty elegance and luxurious comfort for both the driver and passengers alike. The GTC4Lusso sports the latest evolution of the naturally aspired Ferrari GT V12 that melds incredible power with efficiency and provides a soundtrack which is thrilling in performance driving. The GTC4Lusso is the most powerful car in its segment boasting 681 hp, a maximum speed of 208 mph and can travel from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds flat.

Maserati Levante – Maserati awed the crowd in Geneva with its unveiling of their first SUV: the Maserati Levante. The Levante is an SUV like no other, embodying the passion, the sophisticated engineering and exclusivity that have distinguished every vehicle crafted by Maserati. The Levante is fitted with a 3.0 liter V6 Twin-Turbo engine with either 345 hp or 424 hp. In terms of performance, the Levante S covers 0-60 mph in 5.1 seconds, 424 hp and a top speed of 164 mph. The Levante accelerates from 0-60 mph in 5.9 seconds, 345 hp and a top speed of 156 mph.

Aston Martin DB11 – Aston Martin unveiled the new DB11, Aston Martin’s tenth car in a lineage that began in 1948 with the DB1. The heart of the DB11 is a brand-new 5.2-liter V12 turbocharged engine, which achieves 600 hp that pushes it from 0 to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds. The interior of the DB11 uses natural materials, craftsmanship and state-of-the-art infotainment technology to provide the ultimate in comfort and convenience for the driver, the passenger and the back seat riders.

McLaren 570GT – The McLaren 570GT is the newest model in the Sports Series adding extra comfort and practicality to breathtaking performance. Every bit a McLaren, the 570GT is optimized for the road and makes the ultimate sports car experience for daily use, longer journeys or weekends away. The 570GT is a thoroughbred sports car. The carbon-fibre chassis, lightweight aluminum body and a twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V8 engine contribute to an outstanding power-to-weight ratio. With 562 hp, a maximum speed of 204 mph, and traveling 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds, the 570GT is nothing but a blistering ride.

Jaguar F-TYPE SVR – From the choice of lightweight, innovative materials to its advanced aerodynamic design, the F-TYPE SVR is Jaguar’s most powerful F-TYPE yet. The 5.0-liter V8 unit’s twin vortex supercharger reduces drag and surge for responsive performance. Adding to the thrill, the F-TYPE SVR will take you from 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 200 mph in coupe form. The new Jaguar F-TYPE SVR Jag has aggressive hood vents, massive air intakes in the fascia and a carbon-fiber spoiler that automatically raises and lowers from the car’s rear haunches. Get ready for an experience of a lifetime from the first push of the gas pedal.
