We at THE COLLECTION hope that everyone had a fabulous start to the new year and wonderful holiday celebrations! We believe that everyone deserves to have a cheerful holiday season, and in conjunction with Wade’s World Foundation and Publix Super Markets, we sought to serve and inspire underprivileged communities.
Throughout the month of December, THE COLLECTION collected toys during our annual toy drive. We cannot properly express our gratitude for our amazing customers, employees, and friends who donated gifts. On December 22, Miami HEAT Champion Dwyane Wade joined ten local families in need as they each went on a $1,000 shopping spree at Publix. The families were chosen based on moving essays that they submitted. Afterwards there were fun festivities, such as gingerbread house and cupcake making stations. THE COLLECTION provided each family with their own private vehicle and driver to pick up and deliver all shopping spree items to their homes. The automobiles, ranging from Jaguar to McLaren, were filled with the toys from the drive, a wonderful surprise to end the day. Without question, the children’s smiles were one of our fondest memories of 2013!
