Guests at the Boxster Brunch enjoyed delectable tastings from Miami’s top brunch destinations – Zuma, Yardbird, Swine, City Hall Restaurant and the Biltmore. In addition, revelers enjoyed a live musical performance by La Vida Con Fuego, a fashion presentation by Neiman Marcus Coral Gables, champagne cocktails by Moet Imperial Ice; and Bloody Marys and Arnold Palmers by Belvedere Vodka. The inevitable standout of the day, however, was the unveiling of the new Boxster by CEO Ken Gorin, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union.

Since its birth 15 years ago, the Porsche Boxster has been considered the benchmark of its roadster class. Porsche has redesigned the Boxster, starting at $49,500, to define how the roadster of the future should look and perform. According to Car and Driver, the Boxster remains the benchmark for its class, with this new faster and more focused generation commanding the lead when compared with its peers. The Boxster boasts a 0-to-60 mph acceleration time of 5.5 seconds for the base model with a 15 percent improvement in fuel economy. The new, more aggressive and exotic, styling of the Boxster provides unparalleled roadster comfort and stability while sacrificing none of its driving magic. Autoweek touts these changes as “giving the Boxster a cool going-fast-while-standing-still look.”
