At the end of each year, I host a special employee appreciation party for the dedicated members of THE COLLECTION team. I like to think of it as a night to show my gratitude for each and every employee while enjoying cocktails, canapés, music and most of all, each other’s company.
On December 13th, each employee and a guest were welcomed to the Biltmore Hotel for a night of celebration and holiday cheer – Peace, Love & Holidays. Upon entering the party, a 7 ft. bubbly beauty greeted guests with over 180 glasses of prosecco and a selfie moment, of course.
The party remained upbeat from start to finish with appearances by three different musical talents. From Miami based DJ Rascal to the electric Groove Republik band to our very own employee Robin Guidicy, guests flooded the gold and white dance floor and were treated to everything from the vintage oldies to a modern mix. To kick the party into an even higher gear, a surprise Hora Loca took place including light up party wands, party hats and entertainers on stilts.
Apart from the mingling, dancing and singing, there is still a portion of the night which happens to be everyone’s favorite: the now-famous holiday raffle! The prizes included this holiday season’s hottest items. From iPads, to Heat tickets, to gift cards, to a plasma TV, only a lucky fifteen received the must-have gifts.
Although THE COLLECTION Employee Appreciation Party is about having a good time and dancing the night away, it is also an opportunity for me to recognize our special employees and the commitment they have shown to THE COLLECTION.
To show my gratitude, I like to acknowledge all of the employees entering a special tenure. Whether it is 5 years, 10 years, 15 years or 20, each employee was recognized, called on stage and received a gift from me. A special thank you goes to those employees that have been with me for 15 and 20 years which are: Technician Pablo Moreno (20 years), the one and only Paco Agra (20 years), Porsche Sales Eric Medinilla (15 years), CPO Michael George (15 years), Porsche Service Manager Scott Struble (15 years) and Audi Business Manager Natalia Echeverry (15 years). I also cannot forget our Spirit Award winners who fully embody what THE COLLECTION stands for. The winners were: Marketing’s Christy Cartaya, Audi Technician Alex Robaina and Mimmo Falanga, one of our Finance Managers.
Congratulations to you all!
I sincerely thank each and every employee for their dedication and commitment to THE COLLECTION. Happy Holidays!
