The highly-anticipated and stunning 2017 Aston Martin DB11 was revealed last Wednesday on the Rooftop of THE COLLECTION. To celebrate its arrival to the United States, VIP guests experienced an up close and personal look at the DB11, which sets a new standard of sporting Grand Tourers and has taken the legendary DB lineage to new heights.
Upon arrival at THE COLLECTION, guests were greeted by our valet and were escorted to walk the 200+ foot red carpet which led them to the Rooftop of THE COLLECTION. In true luxury fashion, as the DB11 sets, a rooftop soiree has never been done before until now.
Under bright lights stood the all-new DB11 along with six different color combination packages created by the Aston Martin design team. Guests received an in-depth preview of the interior and exterior, its full functions and every detail that sets it a part. VIP attendees relished stone crabs and caviar, sipped on Veuve bubbly and enjoyed an exclusive private meeting with the evening’s star, the 2017 Aston Martin DB11.

The Aston Martin DB11 is the most powerful and most efficient ‘DB’ production model in Aston Martin’s history. The heart of the DB11 is a brand new twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V12 engine, boasting 600 hp and 700 Nm of torque. Also the most dynamic, the DB11 reaches 200 mph and travels from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds.
The interior of the DB11 uses natural materials, craftsmanship and state-of-the-art infotainment technology to provide the ultimate in comfort and convenience for the driver, the passenger and the back seat riders. Offering supreme infotainment, a full-color 12” TFT LCD display presents primary vehicle information with absolute clarity, while a second, centrally-mounted 8” TFT screen is dedicated to infotainment. The new satellite navigation and audio system – the Aston Martin Premium Audio or Bang & Olufsen BeoSound system — are easier to operate now than ever before.
The clamshell bonnet is a continuation of this fearless design philosophy, succeeding to reconcile the conflicting demands of styling and stringent pedestrian safety legislation. Its wraparound form minimizes unsightly shut-lines for a pure, sculptural quality not seen on other cars. Its size means it is also exceptionally effective at dissipating energy, negating the need for space-consuming pedestrian safety systems that would compromise DB11’s crisply tailored lines. The clamshell provides delightful theatre, hinging forwards to reveal a spectacular panoramic view of the magnificent V12 engine beneath.
Stronger, safer, more dynamic and space-efficient. These are the ambitious targets Aston Martin set when creating DB11’s body structure. Increasing the wheelbase by 65 mm has enabled the positioning of the V12 engine further back for near-perfect weight distribution. The door apertures are larger, front seat occupants enjoy 10 mm of extra headroom, while rear wards, a 54 mm increase in headroom and 87 mm more legroom mean DB11 is a true 2+2.
