Saturday night was a CIRCUS from start to finish as one of my favorite events of the year resulted in a complete success. Kicking off the philanthropy gala season into high gear, the Jackson Health Foundation hosted their annual Golden Angels Gala “Meet Jack Under the Big Top” event by welcoming community leaders, supporters and friends to SoHo Studios for a night of excitement, philanthropy and beautiful cars!
As a Silver Seraphim myself, this gala is one that holds a special place in my heart. One of the distinct ways THE COLLECTION likes to show their support for the Jackson Health Foundation is by donating a sought-after Audi year after year. This year we donated none other than the 2015 Audi A6 2.0T. With the purchase of a $1,000 ticket, one winner was able to drive home in the white sparkling beauty.
The Audi A6 2.0T was not the only Audi to make an appearance at this year’s gala. Upon entering the event, guests were welcomed by a gleaming Audi S8, a sporty Audi Q3 and a head-turning R8. Inside SoHo Studios, a red Audi A3 Cabriolet was propped on a riser next to the main raffle prize, the 2015 Audi A6.
This year’s gala had a “Meet Jack Under the Big Top” circus theme, featuring one of my good friends and Emmy-award winning news anchor Laurie Jennings of WPLG-TV as the emcee for the evening. New this year were various active game booths with a chance to win special prizes. THE COLLECTION’s set-up featured a “HOT SHOT” basketball booth. Each guest that made a basket received a delicious candy apple (to go with the theme, of course) provided by Donut Divas.
The Jackson Health Foundation did a tremendous job hosting this wonderful event and I am so happy that I was able to be a part of it along with some of my team and our beautiful cars. We are ALL already looking forward to next year!
