Let the 70th anniversary celebrations begin! When the streets surrounding The COLLECTION Ferrari are lined with over 50 Ferraris it can only mean one thing: A Ferrari Rally! On the afternoon of Saturday, May 6, 2017, Ferraristas gathered with their Prancing Horses and joined us for an exclusive rally from THE COLLECTION to the Miami Beach waterfront location of Smith and Wollensky Steakhouse – in an aptly named caravan event: Ferrari Drive and Dine.
Included in the rally were the 250 GTO, 275 GTB, and F40, marking Ferrari’s heritage from classic to current models, in particular, the most recent GTC4 Lusso and the Ferrari 488 GTB.
The rally began at sunset, passing by the city’s most iconic landmarks, including Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, Pérez Art Museum and Star Island. The engines of Ferraris roared through the MacArthur Causeway and captured the attention of fans along the route.
The Miami skyline and crystal waters of the Government Cut Channel set the backdrop for the ultimate South Beach dining experience at Smith and Wollensky and jaw-dropping Ferrari’s parked out front, sure made it an even better experience.
After the rally, guests sipped on cocktails and enjoyed delicious items such as Crab Cakes, Chilled Lobster and Tuna Tartar… just to name a few.
