The Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade always know how to host a great event! Its 4th Annual “Claws for Kids” brunch was held on Sunday, May 3rd at my favorite local restaurant, Joe’s Stone Crab in Miami Beach. As a proud supporter of the Boys & Girls Club, it was an even prouder moment to be recognized at the fundraising brunch.
THE COLLECTION received the “From the Heart Award,” which honors a person, family or organization that has shown overwhelming support and constant dedication to the children of the community and beyond. Wow! What an amazing feeling to receive this award thanks to our sponsorship of the annual Golf Classic our constant support children’s causes over the past twenty years.
At the spectacular brunch, menu items included stone crabs, coleslaw, hash brown potatoes, creamed spinach and key lime pie. The guest list of over 400 was also entertained by Frank Sinatra impersonator Jeff Grainger of Sinatra Sounds Entertainment.
I would like to give a HUGE thank you to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade for honoring THE COLLECTION at this year’s brunch. The funds raised from this event will certainly play a large part in the future for our youth.
