Celebrating its centennial year, the Brit IT brand rolled out their best Volante ever — one that takes the Super GT a step further — with the introduction of the Vanquish Volante, which boasts the joy of convertible cruising.

There’s nothing quite like driving with the breeze running through your hair and the sun kissing your skin, right? Exactly. Luxurious from the top down (pun intended), here are some attributes which set the Vanquish Volante apart from the pack:
A unique design: The design of the Vanquish Volante represents the latest take on Aston Martin’s iconic visual language. The styling cues include the elongated side strakes, LED rear light blades and the elegant waist.
The Vanquish Volante delivers the most beautiful body-shape in its class. This equates into an all-new aerodynamically tuned decklid (trunk) and tonneau (soft top). A new full-height windscreen with glass directly meeting roof is also in order. Handbuilt in Gaydon, England, the Vanquish Volante sports a 100% carbon fiber shell — the first ever in Aston Martin’s history — allowing for a much lighter car with greater torsional and structural rigidity, while enhancing safety, performance and handling. Amazing.
Peak performance: Powered by an AM11 V12 engine, this is the most powerful and quickest accelerating Volante that Aston Martin has ever created.
Blistering acceleration sees the Vanquish Volante maintain the sporting ability of Vanquish Coupe, as the AM11 engine powers from 0-62 miles per hour in just 4.1 seconds. It offers continent-crossing capability with 565 BHP at 6,750 rpm and 475 lb ft of torque at 5,500 rpm.
A top speed of 183 mph places Vanquish Volante firmly into supercar territory, yet comprehensive weight savings ensure economy and emissions benefits. It’s also the stiffest with a body which maintains all the dynamic agility of Vanquish Coupe — powerful stuff!
Smart, too: The Vanquish Volante is the most technologically innovative convertible Aston Martin has ever made. The three-layer lightweight fabric roof takes just 14 seconds to fold, operating at up to 30 miles per hour. A 1000W Bang & Olufsen BeoSound system monitors and adapts based on open-top conditions — maximizing your music listening pleasure. Boot loading capacity is more than 50% higher than DBS Volante, the same if the roof is up or down.
Lavish in every sense of the word: All of the finishes, all of the authentic materials, and all the exquisite details from Vanquish Coupe create a luxurious grand tourer. The all-new centre stack inspired by One-77 combines elegance and ergonomics.
