On March 18, 2013, over 120 golf enthusiasts gathered at The Deering Bay Yacht & Country for the 46th Annual Golf Classic and Quattro Cup to benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade county.
The organization’s 46th Annual Golf Classic was in Memory of “Bebe” Rebozo in coordination with THE COLLECTION and the Audi quattro Cup 2013. Participants and sponsors raised $103,000, which will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s youth development programs. The programs foster skills in computer education, cultural arts, homework and educational assistance, social life competencies, as well as sports and recreation.
THE COLLECTION, the sponsor of the 46th Annual Golf Classic, gave players the option to play for fun or qualify for the Audi quattro Cup. The event’s Audi quattro Cup winners received an all-expense paid trip to the Audi quattro Cup U.S. Final to be held Aug. 22–25 at The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island, South Carolina. There, Audi of America will decide which two amateur teams it will send to represent the U.S. in the World Final in Los Angeles, California, Oct. 7–11. The Audi quattroCup is the largest amateur golf series in the world, with over 79,000 amateur golfers participating worldwide.
“The Audi quattro Cup immerses golfers in the absolute best of the brand,” said Ken Gorin, President and CEO of THE COLLECTION. “THE COLLECTION is proud to have brought this unique experience to Miami and be part of something that really was created to celebrate the excitement of amateur golfing.”
