Toys for Tots is a program that collects new, unwrapped toys, during the months of October, November, and December. Every year, these toys are distributed as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community.
At THE COLLECTION, we love to give back , so it was a perfect opportunity to do so when Toys for Tots held the annual South Florida Exotic Car ‘Toy Rally’, to benefit Toys for Tots.
On Saturday, December 8th, the seventh annual Toy Rally was held, and with over two hundred participants, the event was one of the largest precessions of exotic cars throughout the U.S., caravanning five miles through South Florida.
Nine drivers from THE COLLECTION (including myself) drove cars in this highly anticipated event, including a Jaguar XKR-S, two McLarens, both coupe and Spider, an Aston Martin Rapide and Vantage S Roadster, a Maserati GTMC, a Ferrari California, and an Audi R8.
In addition to contributing to the truckload of toys that were donated, THE COLLECTION is proud to have donated $10,000 with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Toys for Tots.
This event truly captured the holiday spirit of giving. The reward of knowing that we could bring happiness to several children during the holiday season is in a word: priceless.
