Summertime in Miami, means everyone slows down a bit from la vida loca. It is a natural response to the overwhelming heat and humidity. Good thing at THE COLLECTION we always have the air conditioning blasted! With so many people out of the city, there is no time like the present to check out the car of your dreams. Less people are perusing our luxury car showrooms, allowing you more time with the vehicles and our knowledgeable sales team.
While June 21 marked the first official day of summer, THE COLLECTION kicked off the season over a month ago with the annual employee summer picnic! 350 employees and their families attended the beach bash at Crandon Park Amusement Center on the beautiful Key Biscayne. This special gathering was hosted by Ken Gorin to show his gratitude for THE COLLECTION family’s hard work they contribute all year long.
Attendees spent the perfect, sunny day enjoying various activities including relaxing on the beach with complimentary chairs and umbrellas, riding along the boardwalk on beach-cruiser bicycles, playing beach volleyball and soaking up the sun.
Catering indulgences included Shorty’s BBQ, savory and sweet made-to-order crêpes, Sir Pizza and customizable ice cream from Coldstone Creamery.
Children delighted in snow cones, popcorn, cotton candy, airbrush tattoos, a rock wall, Tahiti Island blow up slide, mini putt-putt golf, an inflatable Meltdown game, the splash zone, unlimited carousel rides and on-site field games.
In whole, it was a gorgeous, fun-filled day for all. Wishing everyone a safe and happy summer!
