Calling all Miami foodies: The 12th Annual Coral Gables Restaurant Week commences June 3 through June 23. What does that mean for those of you who love to wine and dine? Awesome prix-fixe menus at seriously discounted prices at Coral Gables’ most treasured restaurants.
Some of my favorite locations are partaking in the culinary fun, too. Here is a short inventory of all the restaurants taking part in this year’s event: Christy’s Restaurant, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse, La Dorada Restaurant, Morton’s The Steakhouse, Ortanique on the Mile and Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
Founded in 1997, Coral Gables Restaurant Week serves up discounted lunch and dinners for three entire weeks. The event allows you to taste your way through Coral Gables — from your old favorites to newbies. Priced at $13 to $48 per person, foodies can indulge without breaking the bank.
Also worth noting? There are a spate of culinary events peppered throughout the month of June in Coral Gables through an initiative called Coral Gables Culinary Month. Think Coffee Cuppings at Cafe Grumpy (June 7th), Malbec wine tasting at Amigo Grill (June 14th), Mixology classes at Zucca (June 15th) and more.
