The Collection McLaren was in full motion on October 28, 2017 with an exclusive reveal of the all-new McLaren Velocity 720S and a private test drive experience behind the wheel of the McLaren Sport Series. McLaren enthusiasts were greeted with the stunning new engineering marvel from McLaren Special Operations (MSO). The pearlescent red Velocity was sitting right in the middle of the McLaren showroom ready for guests to photograph and discover everything it has to offer. This newly formulated shade, Nerello Red, covers the front and upper body panels, including the red-tinted carbon-fiber hood and fades into Volcano Red on the sides and rear of the car.
Pre-registered guests got behind the wheel of the Sport Series vehicle for a 30 minute private test drive with a McLaren Product Advocate through the scenic streets of Coral Gables. Back in the showroom, post test-drive clients were invited to take photos in our exclusive McLaren photo booth and enjoy gourmet refreshments. This experience offered guests a rare glimpse of the exhilarating McLaren brand.
More about the McLaren Velocity 720S: Sporty, elegant and versatile. The Alloy wheels are finished in metallic bronze. A range of exterior carbon-fiber parts selected from the MSO collection include a gloss carbon rear deck vent, gloss carbon-fiber service cover, gloss carbon rear aero bridge and satin carbon full length sill cover. Inside Carbon Black Alcantara trim is used throughout, with contrasting red leather details. Modifications add about $120,000 to the car’s MSRP of $284,745.
